1tablespoonliquid of your choice (plant-based milk, dairy milk, water, or coconut oil)
2-3tablespoonsmaple syrup or honey
Instructions
Add oats, add-ins, nut or seed butter, and liquid to a large bowl.
Add in honey or maple syrup, 1 tablespoon at a time, to reach desired sweetness. Stir everything together until mixture starts to come together in a sticky ball. If mixture is still too dry, add in 1-2 more tablespoons of liquid.
Place bowl in the freezer for at least 20 minutes to chill. Then, remove and use your hands to roll mixture into evenly-sized bites.
Store in the fridge until ready to eat. Store any leftovers in fridge for up to 1 week or the freezer for up to 3 months.

Notes
**This recipe serves as a template for you to get creative customize to your liking. You get to choose up to 1/2 cup of "add-ins of your choice". If you are doing a mixture of ingredients, you want to measure out 1/2 cup total, not a 1/2 cup of each item. So I recommend grabbing a 1/2 cup measuring cup and add over ingredients until the 1/2 cup is full.See full blog post above with more ideas for "add-ins" to mix into these energy bites.
